We could use some documentation of what to install, order of installation, and notes about any need for previous versions. Like a step by step from the beginning. I'll also post on my blog as well.

I'd install "IL-2 Dynamic Campaign Generator 3.39" http://www.lowengrin.com/download.php?view.128
first. It's a separate little utility program that gives you more control over dynamic campaigns. It optional for the BoB campaign, but it's worth having nonetheless.
The BoB campaign is a little tricky to install as it tries to install to the old style IL2 Forgotten Battles folder structure. It's just a case of redirecting it to the IL2 1946 folder. You just need to check the files go in the missions/campaign/gb folder (if you choose to use the add-on Dynamic Campaign Generator make sure you also put a copy of the 'BoverB' folder into the IL2DCG folder.
Oh and don't forget to make sure you've patched IL2 to version v.4.08 first.
